Locals are advised to remain vigilant, especially on the riverbanks

The heavy rainfall rapidly increased the water level this morning in the Pasar Ikan Sluice Gate at alert status III with water level about 196 centimeters. While other gates are still normal status or alert IV.

Based on the data of City BPBD, the rise in the water level at the Pasar Ikan Sluice Gate began to occur early this morning. Some areas that need to be watched by the floodwaters are Kamal Muara, Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan, Pluit, Ancol, Marunda, Cilincing, Kalibaru and Kamal.

While other water gates at alert IV are Katulampa (50 cm), Depok (145 cm), Manggarai (690 cm) and Karet (390 cm).

Then there are also Krukut Hulu (50 cm), Pesanggrahan (70 cm), Angke Hulu (50 cm), Pluit Reservoir (-180 cm), Cipinang Hulu (100 cm),  Sunter Hulu (70 cm) and Pulogadung (330 cm).

City BPBD added, average weather condition by the sluice gate monitoring post is cloudy. Especially in the Pluit Reservoir is already raining. Locals are advised to remain vigilant, especially on the riverbanks.
